Basically, we supply companies such as Insurance Companies with prospective customers after they have searched specifically for those services and filled out their information using our websites….but that’s a very basic overview! The nature of the business means that we rely heavily on technology and as such we want to be at the cutting edge of new and exciting trends, having said that what is most important to us, and what makes us truly stand out from our competitors is our people. Responsibilities:
Part of our growth strategy is to have our social media and website content stand out from our competitors and attract attention! With that said, we need a talented, savvy, enthusiastic new team member to join us on a part time / flexible basis to control aspects of our social media and write us some amazing, engaging content. You will be a visionary, thinking ‘outside the box’ (cliche we know!) to come up with some real cutting edge stuff. We will need regular website content, and will brief you weekly on the subject on the content we will require and what we expect. You will be a natural ‘researcher’ making sure that your writing is informative and accurate. We will also be relying on you to come up with social media posts which attract attention and project what we are as a company. You might have some writing experience, be a journalism student, have your own ‘wow factor’ social media accounts or simply just be really really interested in this area and looking for some experience. It is as important for us to find somebody who fits in with our team and sees our vision as it is to find someone with the relevant experience.
We will make sure that you are exposed to a number of different tasks which will provide you with some invaluable experience and no doubt benefit you in the future, who knows we may even want to keep you for the long haul once your studies are over!! We are a fabulous team, based on the University Campus and will provide you with the support you will need to succeed. The expectation would be for you to pop into our office once a week or every other week for a brief on the following weeks work and then you will work remotely……flexible to fit round your studies or lifestyle. You can work remotely however we would like you to visit us every week or every other week!
Required profile:
Experience writing publications (desired)
Experience of controlling social media on behalf of a company (desired)
Able to demonstrate your writing skills (essential)
Enthusiastic and able to think outside the box (essential)
Studying a related subject (desired)
Able to commit to at least 5-10 hours per week (essential, this will vary and most likely be more)
Great team member able to take initiative (essential)
*** Please note the budget is an estimation, we are looking to pay around £8 per hour, and expect the work to consist of 5-10 hours a week ***
